Elantra platform went on sale in the UK. At overall length of 4025mm
Hyundai reckoned that Matrix was shortest mini MPV on the market. Width

102PS 1.6 GSi with 104lb ft (141Nm) torque is £10,999 in GSi trim;
twin-cam three cylinder 89PS 1.5 TD GSi with 136lb ft (182Nm) torque is
£11,799 in GSi trim; and 121PS 1.8 CDX with 119lb ft (161Nm) torque is
£12,199. 1.6 petrol engine with manual or automatic transmission; others
manual only. Versatility enhanced by a 60/40 split sliding and
double-folding rear seat.
